Dear Members & Subscribers,
There is still space available in today's Regional Workshop, CHIN's "The
Community Memories Program" from 1:30 to 5:00 pm at the Kelowna Museum. The
session will be led by Adele Meloche and Ruth Heggtveit of CHIN flying in from
Ottawa for this workshop.
Please contact the Museum at (250) 763-2417 for directions.
ALSO: Please join the BCMA Council and special guests for our Regional Open
House Reception at the Kelowna Museum from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. The galleries will
be open for viewing and several BCMA announcements will be made, including:
- Unveiling of BCMA's new corporate image
- Unveiling of BCMA's new membership GO Card and decal design
- Conference 2003 Update & Travel Announcement
- Official Call for Proposals for Conference 2004
- Call for Expressions of Interest in hosting Conference 2005
- Awards & Bursaries Program Update
Geert Maas, sculptor of the BCMA's "Museums in Motion" award, introduced last
fall will be on hand with this year's 5 sculptures now on display in the
Kelowna Museum.
