[BCMA Broadcast] Artist Project: "Corpus Delicti" -The Evidence of Our Strange Curiosities

ARTIST PROJECT-
 "Corpus Delicti" -The Evidence of Our Strange Curiosities (working title).

A textual and visual-art project to highlight quirky and unusual artifacts
in BC's rural and small museums.

Curators and museum staff are invited to contact artist Claudia Lorenz
(claudialorenz@shaw.ca) with suggestions of fascinating artifacts from their
collections.

The artist's preliminary activity will be to select approximately 10
artifacts, photograph them, and write a short essay about the "possible or
plausible" social and museological histories of each object. The essays will
be incorporated into the final artworks. These will be displayed in a museum
or gallery setting, and ultimately published in catalogue or book form.
