BC Museums Association, in partnership with the Canadian  
Conservation Institute, (CCI), is offering the next installment of BCMA's 
continuing    Regional Workshops Series:    

CCI's "Emergency & Disaster Preparedness for Cultural 
Institutions" is a 2-day  workshop that will be hosted by the Kelowna 
Art Gallery, 1315 Water Street, Kelowna,  BC on Friday & Saturday, 
March 4 & 5 2005.   

The downloadable Registration Form (in Word) is available from the

Enrollment is limited to 15 participants, on a "first come" basis.  
UPDATE:  Only 5 spaces left! 

Registration includes the conservation manual, lunches and breaks for 
both days.  Instructions are provided on the downloadable form.  

Special accommodation rates are available upon request.  

Deadline for registration is 5:00 pm, Tuesday, March 1, 2005.   

This BCMA Regional Workshop is being held in conjunction with the 
Alliance of BC  National Historic Sites of Canada (ABCNHSC)'s annual 
conference and includes a joint  Regional Open House Reception on 
Thursday, March 3, 2005 at the Laurel  Packinghouse, 1304 Ellis 
Street, Kelowna, BC. 

Guest Speaker will be Bill Turner, Executive Director, The Land 
Conservancy.
