Victoria region for a new Bookkeeper to replace our former 
Bookkeeper, Bill Bucknall, who retired earlier this fall.</span></font></d=

ption:</b> </span></font></div>
<div><font face=3D"Verdana"><span style=3D"font-size:10pt">The BCMA has se=
rved as the provincial parent association of 
483 B.C. museums and art galleries since 1957. The BCMA is 
a registered non-profit, charitable organization that offers 
annually a variety of programs, including an annual provincial 
conference, services and events for members and non-
members, including program delivery and service agreements 
with the Province of BC and the federal government.&#160; The 
BCMA pursues and undertakes project funding to continue the 
Association&#146;s development of relevant member services and 
resources. Over 2005-06, the BCMA developed a new 
strategic three-year business plan and a Year One Annual 
Plan for 2006-07. The Association is governed by an elected 
provincial Council and managed by a Victoria-based 
Secretariat. BCMA&#146;s current fiscal year runs from August 1 to 
July 31.</span></font></div>

Finance Portfolio,<=
span style=3D"font-size:10pt"> the Bookkeeper 
will assume responsibility 
for the financial records and 
reporting of the Association. 
BCMA will provide a dedicated computer workstation in a 
shared office environment. All bookkeeping will be conducted 
onsite at the BCMA Secretariat office. </div>

 be available to start immediately. The 
contract will be open-ended and subject to an annual service 
review. This contract does not preclude concurrent 
contracts 
with other sources, however the successful candidate will be 
required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement. </div>
