Please note: The local Conference Committee has booked a block of
rooms for Conference 2-007 delegates, presenters, exhibitors, guests
and banquet/casino revellers at a special rate. A percentage of these
rooms will be released for public sale on August 23, 2007 and the
balance of un-booked rooms on September 24, 2007. Filling our room
block directly affects Conference 2-007's facility and catering costs,
and in turn costs to delegates. Please make your room reservations at
the Radisson early!
Early Bird Registration Reminder: September 7, 2007 is the Early Bird
deadline for Conference 2-007.
We are sure you will agree that the local Conference Committee, hosts

2006, in the riding of Louis-St-Laurent. On February 6, 2006, she was
appointed Minister of International Co-operation and Minister for La
Francophonie and Official Languages in Prime Minister Harpers
Cabinet.

June 2004, Ms. Verner was named spokesperson for the Economic
Development Agency of Canada for the Region of Quebec in Mr.
Harpers shadow Cabinet. In September 2005, her portfolio was
expanded to include responsibility for official languages. She also
served as chair of the Quebec caucus of the Conservative Party of
Canada.

. Verner has spent almost 20 years in the communications and
public service fields. She has worked for former Quebec Premier
Robert Bourassa and for the deputy speaker of Quebecs National
Assembly. She has also worked at the provincial Ministry of Health.=
