Celebrating Influential Women, Seniors & Elders</b> program has
today been exiended to <u>Friday, June 27, 2008</u>. </span></font></div>

</div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">Based on the number of pre-submission inquiries received and known
applications expected to date, there are an insufficient number in
progress to fully  utilize the number of project grants being offered on
behalf of the Ministry of Community Services to help promote the
Province's BC150 Years celebration. </span></font></div>

<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">In order to ensure that as many communities and regions throughout
BC can participate and recognize "influential women, seniors or elders"
in their communities over the Province's first 150 years, this deadline
has been extended. </span></font></div>

<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">For those BC institutions and organizations completing applications
this week for the original deadline, we encourage you to submit your
application as planned to help enable the BCMA's efficient processing
of all applications.</span></font></div>

<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">Those BC institutions and organizations contemplating or planning an
exhibit or special project for funding under this BC150 program, are
