[BCMA Members Only] Release of the latest Government of Canada Survey of Heritage Institutions 2015 report

Canadian Heritage is pleased to announce the release of the latest
Government of Canada Survey of Heritage Institutions (GCSHI) 2015 report,
which collected financial and operating information on not-for-profit
heritage institutions, including museums, art galleries, archives, historic
sites, zoos and botanical gardens for the 2013 data year.

Highlights from the survey include.

*	Number of visits to all heritage institutions (61.8 million);
*	Number of heritage employees throughout Canada (32,000);
*	Revenue generated by heritage institutions (over $2.12 billion).
