[BCMA Members Only] Could BCMA Conference be held in your community? Proposal deadline is August 11, 2017

The BC Museums Association is seeking proposals from communities interested
in hosting the annual conference in *2018, 2019, *or* 2020*, in partnership
with the BCMA.

Each October the BC Museums Association holds a nationally-recognized
provincial conference in a British Columbia community, creating an
opportunity for members and future members to gather and discuss issues of
relevance to the museum, gallery, archive, heritage and related sectors.
150 delegates attend from across BC, typically staff from small to large
cultural institutions, and students

The BCMA strongly encourages members to work closely with local hotels,
conference centres, and other partners to develop strong host community
proposals.  *The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, August 11,
2017.*

We currently alternate conference locations between the Lower Mainland and
Vancouver Island but are open to proposals from other areas if the
partnership opportunities are strong.
