Hi Keith

The City of Richmond has caretakers that look after some of our Heritage Sites and our Parks. They receive a place to live in lieu of a salary.
Happy to put you in touch with someone from our team if you would like to send me your direct contact information.

Rebecca

Subject: [BCMA Members Only] Looking for advice on how to employ a caretaker

At the Friends of Fintry we are wanting to bring on a caretaker to live in our house and take care of it during the off season. We initially were offering to provide the home in lieu of salary but have been informed that we cannot do this.

Does anybody have experience with "live in" caretakers and could advise us on how to proceed?

Thanks,

Keith J Johnston
