[Bcma-l] BC Museum of Mining's first Art Exhibit

It is with a great deal of pride that announce our first art exhibit, 
Metamorphosis Evolution.  On exhibit until October 10.
 
A select group of primarily Sea to Sky corridor artists have made a 
specific piece in response to the theme and the relationship with mining 
and mined materials.  The exhibit is stunning in its very unique exhibit 
space of the Machine Shop (1914 timber framed building) and presents 
works of exceptional strength in multi-disciplinary cross section of 
media.  The guest curator is Krisztina Egyed who says she hopes that 
this exhibit will be seen as a barometer that gauges our evolution as a 
society and the creativity of our community".
