*EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR* – ABBOTSFORD CULTURAL CENTRE

Become an integral part of the exciting, brand new Abbotsford Cultural 
Centre which is scheduled to open its doors to the public in 2008. In 
partnership with the City of Abbotsford, the Cultural Centre champions 
the multi-faceted history and heritage of our community; acting as a 
catalyst for the promotion and display of the creative arts.

In the challenging role of Executive Director you have the overall 
responsibility for museum, art gallery and archival operations, 
including the preservation and maintenance of the historical collection, 
fundraising, grant writing, membership, personnel, collections 
management, education and public relations programs. You will be working 
with the Board of Directors in executing a capital campaign and managing 
the ongoing exhibit plan.

You possess a Masters degree with a minimum of 5 years progressive 
non-profit professional management or museum experience or equivalent 
combination of training and experience with excellent leadership and 
communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

demonstrated success in areas of leadership, fundraising, administrative 
and project management, program development, strategic planning and
