Haney Heritage Village

of Salmon Arm

Visitor Services Coordinator

This seasonal position, April to October with limited hours from 
November through March, assists the General Manager and Volunteer/Gift 
Shop Coordinator with daily operations ensuring that all visitors and 
guests receive efficient and friendly service. The village is open 
Wednesday to Sunday from May 15 to September 30. Responsibilities 
include assisting with summer staff hiring, training, assisting with 
coaching for dinner theatre actors, scheduling, event management and 
dealing with day to day operations. Candidates must be able to work some 
early evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate should have a customer service background with 
strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Computer experience in 
word processing, spread sheets and ad production would be an asset. 
Those with expertise in public and community relations, along with a 
broad-based understanding of event planning’ will be given preference.
