<p><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">This year, the applications for the Young Canada Works program must be completed
online. Applications are available on the Young Canada Works website. The deadlinefor
the summer stream, YCW in Heritage Organizations, is</span></font><font face="Arial" color="#ff0000"><span style="font-size:10pt"> February 1, 2007</span></font><font face="Arial" color="#333333"><span
style="font-size:10pt">. Our internal
Heritage Canada Foundation deadline for the internship stream, YCW at Building
Careers in Heritage, is </span></font><font face="Arial" color="#ff0000"><span style="font-size:10pt">February 16, 2007</span></font><font face="Arial" color="#333333"><span
style="font-size:10pt">.</span></font></p>
<p><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">In 2006, the Heritage Canada Foundation assisted in the creation of 80</span></font><font face="Arial" color="#ffff00"><span
style="font-size:10pt"> </span></font><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">summer
positions and 4 internship positions from coast to coast! We thank all employers and
students for their participation, which has resulted in another successful chapter of
YCW. </span></font></p>
<p><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">These projects were made possible by funding provided through the Heritage Programs
Directorate of the Department of Canadian Heritage.</span></font></p>
