My name is Lori Clapp and I work for Strathcona County in Alberta. 

To help with work our municipality is doing around preserving history,
I'm looking to talk to anyone who has worked with the community in
collecting memory and stories, records, photographs, oral histories, and
the like.

I am interested in talking to anyone who has done or is doing this kind
of work -- community collecting, or any program work that involves the
community in accessing its history. 

>From what I am finding so far on the Internet, there's a community in
England called Bottesford (http://www.bottesfordhistory.org.uk/) and
another in Ontario (http://www.pastforward.ca/multimedia/Oralhist.htm).
Very interesting work they are doing.

I would welcome any assistance or leads. Thank you for your time.
