      Beyond the walls…

The CMA’s 61^st conference challenges you to think far beyond the four 
walls of your institutions. Think beyond the physical spaces of your 
museums to reach non-traditional audiences, and to connect with the 
specific demographics of your publics. Think of cultural group, online 
communities, people with special needs, different age groups, and other 
demographic indicators.

*The conference will be built around the following themes:*
*Development:* Long-term planning, building relationships, nurturing new 
professionals.
*Audiences:* Encouraging diversity, engaging new audiences, 
understanding demographics.
*Technology:* How can we use technology to engage and connect with 
different audiences?
