We NEED your contribution…
for a live and silent auction
in memory of
Doug Cranmer
On the 7^th of April 2007, we the family and friends of Doug Cranmer
will be hosting a special event, where we will come together and raise
funds which will be used to help reflect the life works of Doug’s
journey in the world of his innovative expression within the Pacific
Northwest Coast art and form.
Our focus is to bring people together at the Fairmont Empress Hotel for
a dinner followed by a silent and live auction. Here we will raise funds
to create a Museum Exhibit in Doug’s name. In addition, there will be
related publications created to further honour Doug’s life as an artist.
Tickets to attend this event will be $125.00. This will include a dinner
and dessert buffet. There will be a bar open during the duration of the
event to purchase a variety of alcohol beverages as you mingle with
friends and view the selected items in the auction and laugh over old
memories, and better yet, a night of fun!
To make this event a success we are looking for donations to help raise
funds for the Museum Exhibit and related publications. All items will be
placed in either the live or silent auction. With the support of the
Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia, we are
able to issue tax receipts for this charitable cause.
We are excited and anticipate seeing you at this special event to help
remember and create a piece of history for such noble man.
If you have any questions, including making a donation and purchasing
tickets for this event, please contact Rande Cook at 250-294-1044 or by
email at rancook@mac.com <mailto:rancook@mac.com>.
Our most sincere thanks in advance…
