The White Rock Museum + Archives is hosting a lecture series titled "In =
Their Own Words", lectures presented by local authors on topics of local =
interest. Admission is by donation and lectures will be held in the =

of Heritage Home Preservation"

Donald Luxton is the author of Lions Gate, a history of the construction =
and cultural impact of Lions Gate Bridge. He is a founding Director of =
the Heritage Vancouver Society and the Victoria Heritage Foundation, =
Director of the Vancouver Heritage Conservation Foundation, and founding =
and current President of the Canadian Art Deco Society.

Derek Hayes is the author of numerous historical atlases including  =
Historical Atlas of Vancouver and the Lower Fraser Valley and Canada: An =
