Dear Media Friends,
Please help us get the word out.
Opportunity for artists and craftspeople to display their talent in
Vancouver’s Chinatown
Chinatown Arts & Cultural Festival has been an annual attraction for
tourists and locals for the past six years. The Festival focuses on
multicultural performances along with an arts and craft market. This is
a unique opportunity for local artists to display and sell their
creativity and wares.
The 7^th Annual Chinatown Arts & Cultural Festival will be held this
summer on July 7, 14, 21 and 28 in Chinatown’s Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Courtyard
and the China Gate open space. More than twenty free tables are
available for artists to demonstrate their skill and sell their items.
The Festival will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. every Saturday except on
opening day, July 7, which is held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those artists, wanting to take advantage of this unique opportunity,
should contact the organizing committee at 604-658-8872 or email their
enquiry to rika.uto@vancouver.ca <mailto:rika.uto@vancouver.ca> or
