One idea is to mat the paintings and place mylar over top. It is not a
great idea to encapsulate them as the mylar should not touch the face of the
watercolour painting.

We have about seven watercolour paintings that I would like to temporarily
display in our museum. Does anyone have any creative display techniques? We
have very limited wall space and limited money (ie no framing money). I'm
considering encapsulating them (perhaps two back to back) in mylar and
hanging from the ceiling with ???.
Any suggestions or warnings are appreciated.
