Call for Entry

ARTIST IN RESIDENCY

COMOX VALLEY ART GALLERY

Comox Valley Art Gallery, Courtenay, BC,  in partnership with Cultural
Capitals

Two Month Residency (8 weeks):  Feb, Mar. 2008

Artists may apply if they are resident in British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon
Territories or Northwest Territories.

We provide: Studio, accommodation, travel expenses to and from the artist's
residence, an honorarium and purchase prize.  

Artist selected provides: One piece of artwork completed in three months
that will belong to the community and placed in a prominent public venue.
The artist must be accessible at certain hours to the public in the studio.
Two art talks. Two workshops, min 6, max 10 students in each workshop. A fee
to the student will be charged for this to compensate the gallery and the
artist in residence.

Deadline for show of interest November 3rd. 2007.   Email only for your
