Dear Friends,
 
Please help us get the word out on this incredible community ART 
Project. Local Artist Sharon Kallis will lead community groups in the 
creation of  a sewn tapestry of leaves and natural materials found in 
the Garden which reflect the season. Like refelctions on water, the leaf 
tapestry will mirror the lines, shapes, textures and colours of the 
winter landscape. Stay for an hour, or come back often to engage in the 
medatative process of creating this artwork. The leaf tapestry will be 
on display at the 14th Annual Winter Solstice Lantern Festival, here at 
the Dr. Sun Yat -Sen Classical Chinese Garden. Participation is free
 
Drop in dates are:
 
11am-3:00pm
Saturdays: Dec 1,8,15
Thursdays: Dec 6,13,20
Fridays: Dec 7,14
Wednesday :Dec 19
