[Bcma-l] Donation offer - cast iron and brass bed

Hello All
 
Burnaby Village Museum has been offered a cast iron and brass bed.
 
There is no provenence to this bed. The donor says it is 100 years old, 
it has been adapted for contemporary use.
 
It is described as a double bed. The original springs and mattress 
replaced with boards and modern matress
 
The head and foot rails each have one broken caster otherwise the bed is 
in good shape
 
I have not seen any images of the bed to confirm this.
 
The donor is in the Lower Mainland and would like to donate the bed 
somewhere local

to the donor. They will make the decision as to where it goes.
