OPEN HOUSE - Celebrate National Volunteer Week, Bring a friend
Campaign Sunday, May 4 - 1pm-3pm
To celebrate NVW, the Port Moody Station Museum will be hosting an
Open House on Sunday, May 4 from 1pm-3pm. The Museum is in
need of volunteers, members and Board Members.
If you: Possess the passion to keep your communities heritage alive,
are energetic and community minded and are able to give some of
your time to help the community....then the Museum would like to meet
you.
Bring a Friend and join us for light snacks and refreshments. Become
part of your heritage! Learn about the Port Moody Heritage Society
and Port Moody Station Museum. Enjoy a Curator lead tour of the
Museum! Free event.
Mothers Day Tea on the Venosta
Sunday, May 11, 1pm-4pm
Join us on the Venosta (the 1921 vintage railcar) for Tea and Cookies
as we celebrate Mothers Day with family and friends. Music and
entertainment provided by Nigel Tucker a popular volunteer at the
Museum and a favourite performer on Mothers Day. Cost: $5.00 per
person.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR MOTHERS DAY TEA!
If you can spare 2-4 hours on Sunday, May 11, from 12:30pm -
4:30pm,
then we need your help. Volunteers would serve tea and goodies to
our
special guests and enjoy the afternoon aboard the Venosta. If you are
interested please call Maud Sanford at 604.9391648! Our success
depends on the generous commitment from our volunteers! Thank you
