Hi, everyone,

As part of our renovation project which is now going on, we're redoing
all the lighting in one of our buildings. I'm seeking advice on types
and sources of lighting fixtures and bulbs. Until now, we've been using
60w incandescent bulbs, but now we're looking at the more
environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient choices. Is there a
compact fluorescent bulb out there that is safe for museum use? What
about UV filtering/colour rendering, etc? Preferably, anything we go
with is available at our local Home Building Supply!

We do have a fair amount of natural light in the building. Most, if not
all, of our new lighting will be recessed ceiling lighting. Any advice
would be much appreciated.
