Good Afternoon Everyone,
It is beginning to look like Christmas..with lights, carols and snow
forecasted for Friday the Delta Museum and Archives is getting into the
spirit with the annual Holiday Pioneer Tradition on Saturday, December 13
from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Drop-in and join in the festivities and reminisce about the cozy Christmases
celebrated by Delta's early pioneers. While exploring the Museum's festive
displays, children can participate in making some homemade Christmas
decorations similar to those that decorated the homes of our pioneers.
Wrap up your visit with a warm a cup of hot chocolate or apple cider on the
stairs of the 1912 Tudor-style heritage building. What a wonderful way of
getting into the Christmas Spirit! Admission is $4.00 per child and
includes hand-made decorations to take home; adults by donations.
