* One to two years of progressive work-related experience in

* To effectively solicit new business, generating sales by
networking, attending industry functions, trade shows and making
sales calls to prospective clients.
* To plan, coordinate, and execute marketing activities for the
Italian Cultural Centre.
*_Principal duties and responsibilities: _*
* Will play a crucial role in developing and implementing action
plans to ensure achievement of pre-established revenue goals;
* Will be responsible for the development and creation of marketing
collateral;
* Will be responsible for the placement of media scheduled
initiatives and all print, radio/TV, electronic marketing
initiatives as agreed and budgeted;
* Will be responsible for creation and development of online
marketing/advertising initiatives, which may include but is not
limited to: creating email lists and promotion schedules, banners,
images, web channels, branding, search engine marketing and
optimization and building online partnerships and sponsorships.
* Solicit and book new and repeat business through efforts (outside
sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, networking, etc.) while
maximizing banquet space to meet/exceed revenue goals and guidelines.
* Develop and execute marketing strategy to capture the maximum
amount of revenue to meet and ideally exceed sales goals.
* Plan, detail and possibly up sell the meeting/function with the
client including: space requirements, times, equipment, menus,
themes/decorations, etc. Complete the contracts, prepare the
appropriate paperwork, including banquet event orders, coordinate
the appropriate areas in the venue, resolve any issues, complaints
and problems to ensure a quality product delivery and customer
satisfaction. (Training in these areas and others and on-going

*ICC Fund Development Coordinator:*
*Function and purpose of job:*
The Fund Development Coordinator coordinates and oversees the
implementation of the Italian Cultural Centre fundraising plan. The ICCS
fundraising plan is annually developed by the Fund Development
Coordinator with the support of the Fundraising Committee and approved
by the Board of Directors. ICCS fundraising vehicles include cash gifts,
online donations, Tribute/In honour donations, corporate donations,
Foundation grants, Bequests and other planned giving, , sponsorship,
special events, building fund donations, , and in-kind resources. The
position also involves support and administration of the Italian
Cultural Centre Legacy Foundation and the ICCS Circle of Governors.

*Employment Terms:*
The Fund Development Coordinator will be employed on a personal service
contract basis on a part time basis for 24 hours a week. The personal
service contract shall enter into effect and will be valid upon
signature of both parties. The Development Coordinator will have a
probation period of three months.

The Fund Development Coordinator maintains a work space at the ICCS. The
work of the coordinator will include evening and weekend work during
major campaigns and special events.
