AN EVENING OF IRISH ADVENTURE 
Monday, March 10, 2008 at 7:00pm
Hosted by:  Jim Millar - Curator Manager of the Port Moody Station
Museum

In May of 2007, Jim and his wife Brenda took a long deserved vacation
to Ireland.  For three weeks, both Brenda and Jim experienced true
Irish culture and photographed the spectacular vistas only Ireland has
to offer. Jim will be sharing these adventures in photographs taken
throughout the Emerald Isle.  From enjoying strawberries in Wesford,
Bed & Breakfasts in Avoca, and of course visiting the worlds smallest
pub, the evening of photographs and experiences promises to 
entertain
guests as if they were there.  

EASTER EGG HUNT 
Sunday, March 23, 2008   Noon - 2:00pm 

On Sunday, March 23 we are hosting our 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. 
Children hunt for marbles and then redeem them for a colourful bag of
chocolate Easter eggs.  This is one of the Museums biggest events
welcoming over 700 "hunters"  last year.  WE ALSO NEED 
VOLUNTEERS!
This event is successful because of the volunteers help.  We need
people for set up, face painting, arts craft area, concession, meet
and greet, egg distribution etc.  If you can spare a couple hours,
anytime from 10:30am - 2:30pm we would really appreciate your help.

STUDIO TOUR
Saturday, April 12 & Sunday, April 13, 2008 - Noon to 5pm 
ArtsConnect's 9th annual Studio Tour features over 50 artists in 18
venues this year.  The Port Moody Station Museum is one of the select
venues.  We invite you to visit the Museum and experience the artwork
of very talented local artists using all kinds of mediums.
