One Week to YCW-HO Application Deadline
*Ottawa, January 25, 2008 ---* There is only ONE week left to submit
your application for the Young Canada Works in Heritage Organizations
(YCW-HO) 2008 summer student program.
Summer job applications are due *February 1, 2008*.
Applications must be completed and submitted on-line at
www.youngcanadaworks.gc.ca <http://www.youngcanadaworks.gc.ca>
Additional program information is available on the Canadian Museums
Association (CMA) website, at

*When completing your application, don't forget :*
* The maximum YCW-HO contribution is 75% of student salary costs, up
to $8,000 per job.
* The maximum YCW-HO contribution is $50,000 per employer.
* CMA's budget for this program is approximately $6 million.
* At least $4.3 million is reserved for small and medium-sized museums.
YCW is an initiative of the department of Canadian Heritage (PCH),
funded in part by the Government of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy.
CMA administers a component of the YCW program on behalf of PCH.
