If you are a non-profit corporation such as we are, we are guided by the
Societies Act, wherein we send in the Board of Directors every year.
There is no prohibition against people serving as you suggest, however,
there is a question if they are at 'arms length' or not.

Dear colleagues,
I am interested to know of Museums that have adopted Nepotism
Policies as part of their Code of Ethics.
Specifically, I am wondering if anyone has a written prohibition
against family members or spouses serving on the same board.
I would be most grateful to receive a copy of any Nepotism Policies
in effect in BC museums.
With thanks,
Nancy Kirkpatrick, Director
