Sounds like this might be an excellent project for an employment grant - =
Job Creation Partnership, for example, through Service Canada. Wages =
are covered, and possibly materials as well.

Greetings to the greater museum community!
A local professional photographer has approached the museum on the =
Sunshine Coast with an incredible collection of digital images. Duane =
Burnett has recorded people, events, landmarks and nature scenes of the =
entire lower Sunshine Coast, which our board feels will be an invaluable =
document in the years to come.
However, the collection already numbers ~50,000 (and growing), and is =
not catalogued in any particular fashion- much of the associated =
information is not recorded. Our museum is small, with only one =
full-time employee, and the collection is overwhelming for us and for =
the photographer.
We both feel that the photos belong with our museum, but cannot think =
of where to begin.
I am appealing to those on the listserv for any advice regarding this =
predicament, you can contact me though the email address below.
