The BC Orchard Industry Museum is putting the call out to the community
for the 13^th Annual Cherry Fair. The Museum is calling for vendors and
exhibitors to be a part of the Cherry Fair festivities.

The Cherry Fair is a community-based family event designed to celebrate
and support the local orchard industry with an endless flow of
activities, events, and exhibitors, creating fun, interactive,
educational and engaging activities for the whole family including:
cherry tastings, cherry pie, cherry products, and hands-on activities to
name a few. This year’s Cherry Fair is on Saturday, July 19 from 10am to
3pm at the BC Orchard Industry Museum, 1304 Ellis Street inside the
Laurel Packinghouse.

In previous years the Cherry Fair has attracted over 1,000 people,
creating an opportunity for local businesses to promote and sell their
products and services at this community event. “Each year the Cherry
Fair draws a new crowd of people,” comments Risti Nykiforuk, Marketing
and Special events Coordinator for the Kelowna Museums, “It really is a
great family event and an excellent opportunity for local businesses to
increase their community exposure”.

*If you are interested in being a vendor or exhibitor at this year’s
Cherry Fair then please contact Nykiforuk at (250) 763-2417 ext. 22 or
email Events@KelownaMuseums.ca. *

The BC Orchard Industry Museum is a facility of the Kelowna Museums
Society, a non-profit and charitable organization. Proceeds from the
Cherry Fair support Museum exhibitions and public programming. The BC
Orchard Industry Museum is located inside the Laurel Packinghouse in the
heart of Kelowna’s Cultural District. Admission is by donation. For more
