[Bcma-l] Regional Workshop Re-Scheduled

The CCI's "Caring for Archival Collections" workshop planned for 
Kelowna, BC on May 16-17 has had to be postponed until the fall due to 
the difficulty registrants have had in making accommodation arrangements 
in Kelowna for the upcoming May long weekend.

All registrants have been contacted.

The BCMA is working with the CCI instructors and host, the Okanagan 
Heritage Museum in Kelowna for alternate dates in September. The new 
dates and revised registration information will be posted as soon as 
confirmed. We apologize for any inconvenience.

ALSO:  The BCMA invites those Institutional or Associate Members 
interested in bringing a BCMA Regional Workshop to your community and 
region, to:

1. Please visit the CCI website at:

2. Review the different CCI workshops available by scrolling down & 
clicking-on the title for a full description of learning outcomes, units 
covered & instructors;

3. Select the subject(s) your institution is interested in, (in order of 
preference), including your three "best dates" to host, (please provide 
2-3 months adavance notice); then,

4. Email this information to the BCMA at: bcma@museumsassn.bc.ca
& we will work with CCI and your institution to confirm arrangements.

BCMA is especially looking for prospective hosts for this summer and 
confirming with CCI, those workshops & instructors who are available.
