Dear Bev,
We are all shocked by this terrible event, and doing our best to bring them
home safely. This is indeed a travesty.

Subject: [Bcma-l] Bill Reid's work
I am personally distraught and demoralized by the theft of Bill Reid's
magnificent works from MOA at UBC. Like many other British Columbians and
world citizens I have spent many hours gazing at those pieces as well as at
the Raven and the First Men carving.
As bad as the theft is I cannot even contemplate the rip in the fabric of
our heritage if they are melted down for a few hundred dollars. Oh the
pain!!
