*The BC Wine Museum & VQA Wine Shop Serves Up Mulled Wine for the
Downtown Holiday Light Up *
*- Saturday, November 29, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. *
This year's Downtown Holiday Light Up will be a littler warmer thanks to
complimentary mulled wine at the BC Wine Museum & VQA Wine Shop.
The BC Wine Museum & VQA Wine Shop, located inside the Laurel
Packinghouse on the corner of Cawston and Ellis, invites you to visit
between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. for warm, spiced mulled wine during the
Downtown Holiday Light Up on Saturday, November 29^th . Also, sample
decadent fruitcake from Kelowna's very own Nuttier than a Fruitcake.
Adding to the festive atmosphere at the VQA Wine Shop will be
performances by French horn quartet Coils of Gold. Performances will
begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 6:00 p.m. The four members of Coils of
Gold play in the Okanagan Symphony horn section and have toured together
for ten years. Enjoy the melody of the French horn while you sample
mulled wine and fruitcake.
There is no charge for the mulled wine tasting or for the performances
by Coils of Gold.
The annual Downtown Holiday Light Up is a day of scheduled activities
for the entire family including the official lighting of the Christmas
tree with Santa in Kerry Park at 6:15 p.m. For more information on
