As a designer, I agree with Jean's suggestion for playback equipment. =20=
If StopListen's gear is too expensive, any chip-based (no moving =20
parts) digital playback device that allows remote actuation will serve.
But much more important is isolating the sound. There are various =20
degrees and prices of directional speakers but baffling or partially =20
enclosing the area around the exhibit is much more important to ensure =20=
that the message can be heard by the intended listener and not spill =20
over to other visitors.
