D. Jensen & Associates Ltd. is a Mac based company of exhibit  
designers, planners and graphic designers who for the past 32 years  
have been involved in the research, planning and design of exhibits  
for museums, science centres, world expositions, nature centres,  
cultural institutions and government agencies. Our work has included  
local, national, and international projects and conferences. We offer  
a complete range of design, consulting and coordination services for  
all types of exhibitions, specializing in exhibits with cultural,  
historical, environmental or scientific themes.

Our offices are situated in the Gastown area of downtown Vancouver,  
close to SkyTrain, Seabus, and the WestCoast Express.

We are currently seeking a mature, qualified individual for a full- 
time office administration position with our company.

  Successful applicant will possess:

Excellent organizational skills
Pleasant phone manner
Good command of both written and spoken English
Good typing skills
Good research skills
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work unsupervised

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Assisting with monthly invoicing
Assisting with project budgeting and scheduling
Preparing spreadsheets (Excel)
Working with DJA team members as well as other consultants and clients  
to compile content for exhibits
Assisting in the development of presentation materials
Content research (photo rights acquisition etc.)
Note-taking during meetings
Ordering supplies/general office management
Answering phones
Typing e-mails and other documents as required
Maintaining and updating files
Assisting other staff members with tasks as required

Knowledge of the following software is required:

Microsoft Word
Excel
PowerPoint
Mail

Bookkeeping or basic accounting skills would be an asset.

Salary to be determined based on experience and skills.
