Environment Canada (EC) is looking to establish partnerships with
museums and would like to hear your ideas.  </span></font>

EC has developed a new Air Quality and Health Indicator (AQHI) to assist
the public in making good decisions about their outdoor activities, especi=
ally
when the air quality is poor.  This indicator combines several determ=
inants of

the AQHI could be part of it. And if you haven’t yet considered prog=
ramming
related to health, perhaps you might reflect on this opportunity. </span><=

Air quality, especially when it is bad, has had a profound impact on healt=

our communities – especially related to industrial pollution or simp=
ly to the
use of fossil fuels in domestic settings – and could make for an eng=
aging
exhibition.  Or maybe you can see how a program could be developed to=
engage the public.  It is possible that artists or scientists could b=
e involved in
creating a strategy that would attract the interest and involvement of the=
public.  Whatever the approach, Environment Canada is open to forming=
a
partnership with museum(s) to further the AQHI.</span></font>
