Calling all students of museums, heritage and culture:  the AMA wants to 
hear your thoughts.

§       How have Museums /inspired/ you? 

§       Have you been involved in an /innovative/ project others should 
know about? 

§       Where do you /imagine/ museums going in the future?

 

The Alberta Museums Association invites submissions for paper 
presentations at our annual conference from both graduate and 
undergraduate students in Museum Studies and related disciplines. The 
three-day Conference on October 1 - 3, 2009 will consider the different 
ways museums imagine, inspire, and innovate.

 

Three student papers will be selected by a jury of museum professionals. 
Those selected will have the opportunity to present their research 
during the conference, will have conference registration and events 
covered for the day of their presentation and will receive a free AMA 
student membership.

 

Presentations should be no more than 18 minutes long and you are 
encouraged to be creative in your presentation.  Presentations that 
discuss or illustrate new media and its promise for museums are 
particularly welcome.

Deadline for abstract submission: June 1

educational institution affiliation.
