Hello

The Telkwa Museum is also upstream on the Bulkley River, one block  
from the river on a slight rise. We have nothing special for flooding  
as far as I know.  If K'san feels confident about safety from  
flooding and since there are open fields across the river sos the  
water can spread, maybe they should drop the flood portion of the  
insurance. Only have fire and theft.  You can't replace the artifacts  
if gone but a fund for salvaging damaged, waterlogged things would be  
good.  See what Peterborough in Ont. has since they had a flood and  
recovery operation a few years ago.  The movable things like picnic  
tables can be replaced for much less than the premium.  Just some  
thoughts.
