[BCMA] News Release: Limited Number of Tickets Still Available for Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Hall of Fame sports columnist and author Jim Taylor has some intriguing if not controversial thoughts on the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Jim will be the keynote speaker at the 2nd annual Central Okanagan Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony Thursday November 19th at the Coast Capri Hotel.



There are a handful of tickets for the 2 hour breakfast gala still available which can be purchased through the Okanagan Heritage Museum. Tickets are $100 each.



The 2009 inductees include World Champion triathlete Jo-Anne Ritchie, the 1994 World Champion Rick Folk curling team, Pioneer Jack Brow who helped establish and grow minor sports in Kelowna, and the Athans Family-the father, mother and three sons were golden in the water and on the snow.



Entertainment, videos, prizes, a large cheque presentation to a minor sports organization and more-come out and support this year's inductees and this valued community event.
