Heritage Tourism Community Planning Workshop

 

Is your community ready to explore heritage tourism opportunities and take
the first steps toward a coordinated heritage tourism development strategy?
In this one-day planning workshop, funded by Heritage BC, local heritage
sites and museums, heritage societies, First Nations, tourism associations,
tourism business owners and other key stakeholders will learn how to pool
their resources and efforts to develop a heritage tourism vision for their
community.

 

Participants will carry out an inventory and assessment of potential
heritage tourism events and experiences in the community and devise an
action plan for developing unique products and integrated  promotional
strategies.
