Keep Calm and Cary On Tour Coming to Wells BC, Saturday, November 21st



Acoustic duo Dave Lang and David Newberry have taken their Keep Calm  
and Carry On Tour across the country and are making their stop in the  
historic town of Wells at the Wells Hotel Pub on Saturday, November  
21 at 8pm.

Smart words, smart chords, smart clothes - Dave Lang  
(www.davelang.com) has had a fondness for smartness since someone  
told him he had a smart mouth. Inspired by Cole Porter, Noel Coward,  
Bob Wills and Lenny Bruce, Lang writes smart songs that make you  
smile. "Even the love songs are biting and satirical" - Geoff Berner

David Newberry (www.davidnewberry.ca) sings folk songs with rock  
sensibilities. Or is it the other way around? His simple songs  
capture insights into the complex contemporary social world.

writing, not one wasted word or thought. Each drives home the fact  
that I am listening to exquisite insights into the human condition. A

The concert is a joint effort between Island Mountain Arts and the  
Wells Hotel Pub with part of the proceeds supporting IMA and arts in  
Wells. Come early for dinner and enjoy the new menu in the newly  
renovated Pooley Street Café located in the Wells Hotel. Restaurant  
is open until 7pm. Concert starts in the Wells Hotel Pub at 8pm,  
admission is by donation.
