Dr. Richard T. Gray will present a talk titled:
The Fourth Wall: Illusion and the Theater of Narrative in Franz Kafka’s 
‘A Report to an Academy’ on Thursday September 17, SFU Vancouver campus 
(515 W. Hastings), 7PM in Room 7000. This event is free and open to the 
public.

This is the final event associated with the SFU Gallery’s recent 
exhibition “The Insurance Man: Kafka in the Penal Colony”.
The talk is co-sponsored by the SFU Gallery and the SFU Institute of the 
Humanities.

Richard T. Gray is the Byron W. and Alice L. Lockwood Professor in the 
Humanities at the University of Washington, Seattle.
