I tried to send this yesterday but apparently the photos were too large and
unable to be handled by my email server so I had to reconfigure and send in
this photo share format. I believe that I have an accurate identification of
the tool you have sent photos of and am sending several photos of a like
object which has been in use ( but not for many years) at a shipyard in
Sooke.  It is called a "Caulking ( generally pronounced "corking") Iron". It
is often referred to a "horsing " iron.  Usually used with a heavy wooden
mallet and most often used on heavy planked wooden vessels such... (This
