[BCMA] Postions available - Oliver and District Heritage Society

The Oliver and District Heritage Society is offering two YCW positions in
2010:

 

1] Museum Assistant: May 25 to September 4, 2010, 30 hours per week

            Responsibilities: Collection Management, Exhibit Development,
Website Development, Docent

 

2] Archives Assistant: May 17 to September 4, 2010, 30 hours per week

            Responsibilities: Photograph Digitization, Exhibit Development,
Website Development, Customer Support

 

Both positions are offered pending the results of the YCW review process.
Applicants must meet the YCW funding guidelines.

 

Oliver is a beautiful town at the northern tip of the Great Basin Desert.
Known for its warmth, wineries and abundant sunshine, it is the ideal place
to spend the summer. Successful applicants will be immersed in the history
of the area, and will have the opportunity to develop a wide array of skills
necessary in the running of a small heritage organization.
