[BCMA] Loom offered for donation

 Burnaby Village Museum has been offered a loom

We already have one in our collections so we would like to pass it on.

The donors information is:

I am writing to you with regard to my wish to find a home for my antique weaving loom:

I purchased this loom in the Netherlands about 40 years ago
It is a handcrafted German loom ( 4 harnesses counterbalanced) made in the early 1800, made from solid oak and weighs 350 pound.
The loom is complete with originals reeds ( made out of reed), original heddles ( linen)
