[BCMA] Donation Offer - Mid 1800's Furniture

The following donation offer has been received via the BCMA office and 
is being made available to any institution that may be interested in 
obtaining these items suitable for their collection.  The donor has 
indicated they are in mint condition, with these descriptions and photos:

(1) English 1870's parlour setting, rococo mahogany (rich medium colour) 
with carved roses frame & original rose-pink silk background with woven 
flowers, and consists of loveseat, gentleman's chair, & 4 side chairs.

(2) English 1830's elegant carved sideboard (dark rich mahogany) with 
lower side glass inserts (original), 4 drawers, original keys (Hobbs of 
London lever-style locks), and approx. 72" wide.

(3) Mid-1850's prayer chair (dark black mahogany/oak frame) mostly 
covered with medium olive green upholstry.

They are available for viewing in Richmond, BC, from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm, 
up to Sunday, August 15th.  For further information or to make
