[BCMA] Charity in a box at Lattimer Gallery

Northwest Coast First Nations artists are donating their time and talent to support the Aboriginal Health Program at BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre.
For the past four years, Lattimer Gallery has organized events over the holiday season to help support various charities.
On Nov. 27, bidding opened in a silent auction featuring a wide range of small cedar bentwood boxes. Each box, steam-bent and donated by Metis/Cree artist James Michels, is a unique artwork created by  many of the Northwest Coast First Nations artists represented at Lattimer Gallery.
The bentwood boxes can be viewed online at www.lattimergallery.com<http://www.lattimergallery.com> The silent auction is open to 5pm, Friday, Dec. 10. Bids can be placed in person at the gallery at 1590 West 2nd Ave. in Vancouver;  via email at info at lattimergallery.com<mailto:info at lattimergallery.com> or by phone to 604-732-4556.
An opening reception for the bentwood box charity event at Lattimer Gallery is set for 5pm to  8pm Friday, Dec. 3. Participating artists will be in attendance and everyone is invited to drop by.
