 Yes- you don't have to re-invent the wheel. Touchstones in Nelson has a very thorough Employment Policy.
and encompass both Gallery and Museum - so you might want to contact Leah Best at Touchstones, or Paul Crawford at the Penticton Art Gallery for their policies.

  Dear members of BCMA:

   

  Comox Valley Art Gallery is in the midst of changes and I am researching the creation of a Policy and Procedures Manual for our organization, which is to include an Employee Handbook section. Though I have found several general samples on the internet, I am specifically looking for resources or a guide for an art gallery specific Policy Manual. 

   

  To write this from scratch is a daunting task and to prevent re-inventing the wheel, I am requesting a sample, either in PDF or hardcopy of a Policy Manual, or even a Table of Contents. I would be grateful for any help, comments or suggestions.
