Burnaby Village Museum has been offered a corner cabinet and settle bench. Neither of these fit in to our collections. If anyone is interested I have digital images and can put you in contact with the donor.

The corner cupboard it is 7 feet, 4 inches high by 4 feet, 6 inches wide by 14 inches deep. It is somewhat similar to pictures of glazed corner cupboards shown on Howard Pain's The Heritage of Upper Canadian Furniture (Item 450 on page 179 of Pain's book. If there was a cornice it is not with the cupboard. The panes of glass are sealed with putty and show the usual imperfections that appear with glass panes manufactured by modern techniques.

The settle bench is 6 feet long with the seat 18 inches high. The picture which I've submitted shows one of the two forged- iron clasps which appear similar to such a clasp shown on page 150 of Pain's book.
